Here is the link to my digital prototype. This was created in Gamesalad and so far the player can make the character move and double jump.

Heart Attack
My vision for this game
is a platformer where the main character is a white blood cell who races
through veins fighting off virus’, infection’s and clearing out blood clots all
for the well-being of the body.
Features
The main character is
going to be able to Jump, duck, move left and right, and shoot.
Overview
Player Objectives: The player’s objective is to keep the heart
rate and blood pressure at a safe and healthy level by destroy any invasive
pathogens or blood clots he comes across in the game.
Genre:
I would like the game to be a side-scrolling platformer because that is how I
depicted it in the animation I did. And the idea of the main play space being a
vein just lends itself to that setup nicely.
Competition: Basically any other sidescrolling platformer out there.
Unique selling points: I don’t believe that a platformer has yet been
created with this theme in place
Design goals: I would
like the game to have the classic 8-bit style to it but still be 3D as
portrayed in my animation video here:

Other Thoughts: What if the roles were switched and the player played as a virus trying to infect the body, fighting white blood cells and trying to cause as much damage as possible.
On another note, I have started to like the option of making the game more like Punch Quest (Video Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8H6l2htv-3w ). Where there is randomly generated terrain and enemies. The goal here is to survive as long as possible and get the high score, all the while receiving power ups.
